In Black Desert Global Lab, for a smooth test performance, you will start as an Lv. 60 class when you create a character, and 2,792 Skill Points will be given to your created character.

You can also obtain Global Lab exclusive items through completing Challenges (Y), or Global Lab Goods Vendor NPCs.

● The renewed integrated Marketplace was added.










The previous Marketplace system required the buyer to know the select an item and its exact enhancement level to buy it from another adventurer that registers it in the Marketplace. Not only that, the prices on the Marketplace was limited. This led to certain items being over / underpriced.

 

We will be implementing the renewed integrated Marketplace system to improve on those points.



If we are to say the previous system allowed adventurers to trade directly with another adventurer, the new system allows adventurers to trade with the Marketplace instead. For example, you can now get silver for a number of items your selling from the Marketplace even if there isn’t a buyer right now.



The Marketplace will buy the items your selling and register it. Then the item will be sold if someone pre-ordered the item or buys the item at a later time. If an adventurer made a pre-order, the item will be first sold to the pre-order 100% of the time. This will remove the need to use inappropriate methods to buy items off the Marketplace.



Additionally, you can use the Marketplace Inventory to place silver and unstackable items to trade them in single stacks. This will make the Marketplace much more convenient to use.




- You must place items and silver in the Marketplace Inventory to use the renewed integrated Marketplace. The Marketplace Inventory can be opened by pressing the ‘Register Item’ button in the integrated Marketplace menu or the transaction maid/butler.

- Items placed in the Marketplace Inventory can be sold in any region. Additionally, you can also cancel or remove expired registrations through any Marketplace.

- Items that cannot be stacked can be stacked and sold in the Marketplace Inventory. (However, when the item is removed from the Marketplace Inventory, they will no longer be stacked.)

- The Marketplace will purchase a set total amount of items from an adventurer that registers them to sell. Then the Marketplace sells the items to the adventurer when another adventurer tries to buy the item at a later time.

- The maximum and minimum prices of an item changes depending on the adventurers trying to buy/sell the item during a set period of time.

So, if there are a lot of pre-orders being registered at a higher price for an item, than the selling price goes up. If there are a lot of pre-orders being registered at a lower price for an item, than the selling price does down.

This will allow items that were not properly priced before to reach its actual market value. 

(Still, you will need to register pre-orders with 0 available in the Marketplace at a higher price. However, you can register to buy an item at a lower price if the Marketplace holds the maximum amount of an item. If there are items simply available on the Marketplace, then the items can be sold/bought at their market price.)

- You will now be able to purchase weapons and armor in enhancement level groups (excluding certain items).

e.g.) Adventurer ‘A’ sold a +8 Kzarka Longsword. It is in the +8~ +10 enhancement level group, so it will be registered as 1 Kzarka Longsword on the Marketplace for that enhancement level group. Now, Adventurer ‘B’ can choose to buy the Kzarka Longsword at +8, +9, +10. This means, even though A sold a  ‘+8 Kzarka Longsword’, B is able to buy a +10 Kzarka Longsword. Of course,the final price will automatically be calculated to match the difference in enhancement levels. You’re able to see the final price when you buy the item.

- You’ll be able to collect 65% of your sales, which is the same as the old Marketplace. You’ll be able to collect 84.5% of your sales if you have an active Value Pack.

- The adventurer that registers their pre-order at the highest price gets priority when buying an item. If there are multiple adventurers that have registered at the same price, then it will be sold to the adventurer that registered earlier.

● When the Guild Bonus (incentives) which is given out to one Guild member per distribution exceeds 500 million Silver, additional taxes will now be applied.

1. Does not apply for less than 500 million Silver. 

2. Tax of 50% will be applied to the amount of Silver exceeding 500 million Silver.

ex) When each Guild member is given a Guild Bonus of 600 million Silver, a tax rate of 50% will be applied to the exceeding 100 million Silver. (Actual amount of Silver given per member: 550 million Silver) 

3. Additionally, a tax rate of 70% will be applied for amounts exceeding 1 Billion Silver.

ex) When each Guild member is given a Guild Bonus of 1.2 Billion Silver, a tax rate of 50% will be applied to 500 million Silver, and then a tax rate of 70% will be applied to the remaining 200 million Silver (Actual amount of Silver given per member: 850 million Silver)

This was done in order to prevent an excessive amount of Silver from being distributed to certain Guild members. The additionally collected tax will be included in the Support Funds for all guilds.

● Wizard Gosphy increases your probability to get a tier 4 pet by 20% when exchanging tier 3 pets. 


 



[Monsters]

● Ghost Whales from distant waters have come to inhabit a certain area in search of food.

● Candidum (the predators of the seas) followed the scent of the Ghost Whales and are also in similar areas.

● The Wasteland Iguana that got lost near the western entrance to Altinova was released back into the wild.

● The chance Kagtum Guard will appear around Blood Wolf Town was increased by approximately 10%.

- There is a chance for Kagtum Guards to appear in Traitor's Jail if there is a high number of released Kagtum Prisoners.

● The cooldown for Atanis Firefly has been changed to 5 minutes.

 



[Quests, Knowledge]

● ‘Manager’ was changed to Bartholomeo in the quest objective for '[Processing Lv38] Gold from River Water?'.



 



[Environment, NPC, Effects, Cutscenes]

● The names of NPCs around Glish were changed from Villager to Soldier to match their looks.

● Fixed the issue where the light was too bright around Lake Flondor.

● Fixed the issue where the trees in Longleaf Tree Forest were shown abnormally.


 



[Interface Changes]

● The following hotkey was added to the bottom of Quick Hotkey Settings window in the ESC menu.

- Quick Hotkey can be removed by pressing ‘Delete’.

● Explanation with the hotkeys and how to set them were added for the following hotkeys.

- Recharge Alchemy Stone, Open Maid/Butler Storage, Open Maid/Butler Marketplace, Tray, Set Auto-run Path, Remote Collect Campsite, Install Campsite, Check in All Pets, Take Out Pet Group 1 - 3, Find NPC, Tag Characters

● The area where you can click 'Show All' in the Quick Hotkey Settings window was extended to include the text.

● Fixed the issue where text in the Guild (G) window overlapped or were cut off.

● The texts in the Recover Max Dur. window were aligned to look more natural.

● The icon for the ‘Forfeit Quest’ button was changed back to the white flag shape.

● The 'Feedback' button was added to the ESC menu. This will make it easier to send feedback to us at Global Labs.

● Fixed the issue where contribution points overlapped with text in the top left corner of the World Map.

● Fixed the issue where the text in the selection buttons displayed when talking to a NPC or Black Spirit spilled out of the button.

● The buttons 'About Bidding', 'Register Item' were fixed to appear in their proper locations.

● When you click on the wharf icon when you have a ship out, the information about the current ship that is out will be displayed to upper right of the wharf.

● The item description will disappear after the Mount Information window is closed using the ESC button.

● The Farming Guide and Farming window were improved.

- The Estimated Time in the Farming window is now displayed at the top so you can check the time even faster.

● The gift letter window was remastered.

● Node Tax Info. window was remastered.

● Fixed the scroll bar on the Detailed Use screen that appears when a house is selected in the World Map.

● The group number on the icons in the Pet List window were changed to be easily visible.

● The description window will change in size depending on the amount of text it contains for the skill effects of pets that are active.

● The text that is display when no skills are selected to be inherited for a pet exchange was changed to the following.

- Before: Select Random → After: Not Inherited

● The exchange window will close if the pet exchange fails.

● Fixed the issue where the frames of Sticker UI looked abnormal.

● Fixed the issue where the Learn Skills/Skill Reset icons overlapped with descriptions in the Skill (K) window for characters under level 55.

● The Navigate and Forfeit buttons in the Quest Info window were remastered.

● The following settings were fixed in the Friend List (N) window.

- Messenger Alert Sound

- Messenger Alert Display

● The text that appears when a skill came off cooldown was removed.

● A message will now appear when your pet exchange fails.

● Fixed the issue where the feed icons would spill out of the allocated space if there were multiple feeds available.

● The following functions cannot be used when the Pet Exchange window is open.
