Hello, Adventurers.



This is The MMORPG, Black Desert.



 



We would like to thank you for the interest you’ve shown for Black Desert Global Lab.



We have prepared a solution guide for Adventurers that might be experiencing some issues with the Global Lab. Please read below for solutions.

◈ Issues Related to the Game



 



■ The test-exclusive equipment cannot be repaired.



- [Fixed 7/12 (Thu)]



The test-exclusive NPC Eiorah was added and is located on Weita Island/inside the Sycaria Underwater Cave. You can buy Kydict’s main weapon/sub-weapon/awakening weapon from this NPC for 1 silver. So if you’ve used up all the equipment’s durability, please buy another one.



 



■ Adventurers recieved the Awakening Secret Book for the wrong class or on a premium character.



- [Fixed on 7/18 (Wed)]



Get the Awakening Secret Book from 'Challenge' (Y) if you couldn't use it before because it was for the wrong class or was on a premium character.



 



 



◈ Issues Related to the Launcher & Running the Game



■ Patch download isn't working. It's going back to 0% after reaching 11%.



(Fixed 12/07/2018)

- Black Desert Online requires minimum Hard Disk space for download and patch.

Please make sure you have at least 30GB space before updating.



 



■ The following message is displayed due to issues with WinLisence. 



(Fixed on: 2018/11/19)

Go to Settings and click the Recover WinLicense button after launching the Black Desert Global Lab client to fix this issue.



 



■ The game won’t start after the game launcher was downloaded.



- [Fixed 7/12 (Thu)]



1) Black Desert does not support multiple clients running at the same time.



If you are running a client of a live server, please exit the game then open the Global Lab launcher.



2) There might be an issue with your previous live client’s registry conflicting with the Global Lab client.



Please try deleting the Global Lab registry and client then re-installing the Global Lab client.



Please refer to [FAQ] Patch Download and Install Issue on how to delete your registry.



 



 



■ Want to change the location of the Game Launcher but unable to change its directory.



- [Fixed 7/12 (Thu)]



As of 7/12 (Thu), the issue may be caused by the fact that the default directory for the Global Lab patch has been changed to ‘C:\Pearlabyss\BlackDesertLab’. To fix this issue, try deleting the Global Lab registry and client then re-installing the Global Lab client.

◈ Issue Related to the Website



 



■ Unable to reset secondary password.



- [Fixed 7/16 (Mon)]



The issue with the confirmation codes sent during the secondary password resetting process has been fixed.



 



■ Cannot access to the game due to popping up 'Secondary password input error' message.

- [Fixed 7/23 (Mon)]

The issue of popping up 'Secondary password input error' message that has your characters be unable to access to the game has been resolved.
